About Large Text Pedometer

Large Text Pedometer is a simple step-count display and daily history app. It is not a medical device or a health-management service.

Physical Activity and step count access

The app requests Physical Activity permission to read step-count information needed for its step display and history. You may choose whether to grant this permission. Without it, step-count features may not be available.

On-device storage

Step-count information used by the app is processed and stored on your device. Daily step history is saved locally using Room, an Android database library. The app does not require you to create an account.

Advertising and Google Mobile Ads SDK

The app is planned to use Google AdMob to serve advertising. Google Mobile Ads SDK may process information as described in Google's documentation and privacy policy, including information used to provide, measure, or personalize ads where permitted. The information processed can depend on your device, settings, region, and consent choices.

Consent and privacy choices

Where required, the app may present consent options for advertising. You can use those options when shown, and you can review relevant device-level advertising and privacy settings. You may also control Physical Activity permission in your device settings.

Google AdMob and Google Mobile Ads SDK are third-party services. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies. This app does not control those third-party practices.

Data retention

Locally stored daily step history remains on your device until it is removed by the app's normal data controls or by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app. Third-party service retention is governed by the applicable third-party policy.

Children and age-related information

Large Text Pedometer is not directed to children. If you are under the age required to consent to advertising-related processing in your location, please use the app only with a parent or guardian's involvement, where appropriate.

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app or applicable requirements. The updated version will be posted on this page.
